On a Monday afternoon in early September, the team’s captain, Ryan Callahan, is having dinner with his teammates in the locker room at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
As the NHL playoffs get underway, Callahan is preparing to face the Chicago Blackhawks, one of the league’s top teams.
The Blackhawks are currently the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs and their current No. 2 seed, the Chicago Blue Jackets, is looking for a seventh straight trip to the conference finals.
The teams meet in Game 1 of the best-of-seven series at the AT&T Center on Sunday.
Callahan and his teammates are on the verge of a breakthrough.
They’re already playing in a new building, the AAC, that will be completely new.
They haven’t played in the arena since March 31, when the NHL relocated from Raleigh to Dallas.
Callahans new teammates have only played in front of the AAC for a couple of games.
That is, until this year.
The AAC will become the new home of the Dallas Stars.
It’s a move that will transform the Stars, the Stars’ biggest rival, into a regular season powerhouse, one that has never lost in the AAC before.
Stars fans and media members will see this for the first time, in full.
They’ll have to wait until Game 1 on Sunday night to see it.
But it’s been a while since the Stars have played in a major arena, the arena where the Stars played their last two playoff games.
The Stars had been playing in the AmericanAirlines Center in downtown Dallas since the end of the 2010-11 season.
The arena had been a huge success, and the team had a great fan base.
The fans were excited, too, for a team that had been on the brink of becoming a playoff team.
Now, as the team gears up for Game 1, it will be the biggest step forward in the history of the Stars.
For years, the city of Dallas has had to contend with one of sports most expensive real estate projects: The construction of the AT &t Center.
The construction was supposed to be finished by March, but it took more than a year to complete the arena.
When it finally opened in 2012, it was a mixed blessing.
For the first year, fans didn’t have to travel far to see their team play, and there were a lot of empty seats in the building.
The crowds were sparse, but not without the Stars fans having fun.
The team had been one of those teams that never quite had enough success to earn a spot in the playoffs, so the building was designed to be a home run for the fans.
In some ways, it worked.
The stadium was built to host an average of 10,000 fans per game, the highest attendance in the league.
The venue also was built on top of the Texas Gulf Coast, which has one of North America’s most robust soccer markets.
As a result, the venue had a strong capacity for the team.
The Dallas Stars are now the fourth-largest team in the NBA, but they have been overshadowed by the bigger and better teams in the NHL.
The franchise has never been able to win the Stanley Cup in Dallas, but fans will see their favorite team once again in the AT, and will get to see a team in an arena that has been a fortress for many years.
There will be plenty of opportunities for the Stars to showcase their talents in the new arena.
Fans can expect a full-court press in front the AAC.
Callhans new linemates will be joined by teammates like Patrick Sharp, Alex Goligoski, and Patrick Eaves.
There is also a chance that a couple other Stars players will get a chance to shine in the venue.
Stars coach Lindy Ruff said during his pregame news conference Monday that he is confident in his team.
He also said that he’s looking forward to playing in front a brand new arena, and that the new stadium is going to be something special.
Ruff has always said that the Stars are the No, 1 seed, and he has always had high expectations for the building, which is also located in Dallas’s corporate district.
Fans have to admit that they’re excited for the opportunity to see the team play in a different setting.
For most of its history, the AT has been home to the NHL’s Dallas Stars, and they’ve won three Stanley Cups in the span of 10 years.
They were the last team to play in the facility before it was renovated to host the 2016 Winter Classic, and fans are still hoping for the same.
The city of Denver hosted the 2015 NHL All-Star Game, and even though the building has been renovated, there are some changes that have to be made in the design to allow the Stars and the Colorado Avalanche to play there.
For instance, the outdoor scoreboard will need to be removed and replaced with a more modern type of scoreboard.
The new arena will also have a more expansive outdoor scoreboard
